If you are not familiar with the Manhattan Beach Tree Section, here's what I can share with you.
The Tree Section is comprised primarily of Single Family Homes (SFRs) sitting on 5000 sq ft lots although there are also considerably larger lots as well. It is located West of Sepulveda Blvd (PCH) and East of the Manhattan Beach Sand Section. The northern boundary is Rosecrans and on the South Manhattan Beach Blvd. You will find everything from new construction SFRs to original mid century homes and even a few older ones. Prices can vary considerably if you are in any of the
sub-neighborhoods such as American Martys or the Gaslight District.
While at first you might think that the name comes from the many trees you will see in the neighborhood, the real derivation is the street names: Palm, Oak, Pine, Elm, etc. It is a great place to live and many residents find it an easy walk or bike ride to downtown and the beach.
